You’re Invited - Show and Tell 7/3/08

Happy early Independence Day! We’ll be hosting our weekly online Show and Tell session at 11:00 PST this morning via Elluminate Live! This is a great way to learn about Elluminate, share your eLearning projects, network with others and learn. I usually spend a few minutes sharing something I’ve discovered or have been working on and then turn the time over to participants to share. Come prepared with links, files, questions, ideas, anything! It’s a very casual session and the conversation can get interesting. Previous sessions have covered Google sites, reader and spreadsheets, wikis, slideshare.net, open educational resources, Yahoo pipes, student video projects, instructor Camtasia demonstrations and more. When we run out of things to share, I give participants moderator access to play with Elluminate. You are welcome to invite people from outside BTC to enhance our networking opportunities and learning experience. Students are also welcome to join us. To participate, click the link below and enter your name when prompted. The session will actually be open from 10:30 to 12:30 if you would like to check out Elluminate Live! before we begin.

Thank you for mentioning this via Twitter, I greatly enjoyed the topics being discussed, and greatly appreciate this session being open for anyone to attend!

I’ll do my best to attend regularly, and have something to share.

Hi Jen - I love the approach you’ve taken with these Show and Tell sessions! Great way to get people thinking about and practically experiencing technologies. Come to think of it…I might just steal your idea for U of M (or perhaps do something jointly?)
